If you haven't visited the square or walked around the building (the two options that appear when you click on your house door to go somewhere, available only once per run) then there is still some hope to get out of this soft lock. At the start of the day, turn back home and pay any bill that is due today, ignore the ones that you still have time on. Choose the option to walk around the square and you will read about a guy needing help with a sofa. Question where he got it and press him using authority. He will try to bribe you, accept the bribe. If you don't have $1,000 by now, visit the square. Choose the option to wait/stand in the square (don't remember exactly what it says). Someone will come and nod at you, walk away from them. You will hear an explosion, run back to the square. Someone is in need of help, take/steal their watch, don't help them. You will get more than enough to pay off your boss and maybe a bill or two.
Other than that, I can't think of another way to get out of this situation of yours. If you have any other save, use those. If not, you can always restart the game, maybe go for some different achievements, and make better choices, knowing more information than you did last time.
It's a thing you'd have to remember in future games.
