Can't get rid of Gloria Melfi - Stuck?

Think I got myself stuck with Gloria Melfi. I don't see a way of getting rid of her. I have no quests for her, tried talking to Rose Everdeen, tried talking to Gloria. She's the only colleague left.

Any ideas?

You should've gotten a quest to recruit people for the patriotic quiz from Rose Everdeen. After completing that quest, Rose will eventually tell you that Gloria Melfi's son did not show up to the quiz and will ask you to confront Gloria Melfi about it. Ask her about it and come back. From here, you can tell Rose exactly what Gloria said which will get her killed for being crazy, as her son has died a long time ago but she still thinks he's alive or make up an excuse for her using authority which will unlock additional quests for you to do to get rid of Gloria in a peaceful way.

I must've bugged it out then -- I covered for her but never got any more quests from Everdeen or Gloria. :(

I think you need to call the Archive for more information. After you covered for Gloria, there shoudl've been an option to ask Rose about the son.

Oh yeah, I tried that too.. forgot to mention that. Once I call the archive, the only option there is is to hang up. Also tried hacking in to Gloria's desktop in case there was info there. But yeah I don't have leads on where to go. I just ended up loading a save all the way on the first floor doing floor 12 all over again. I'm just going to turn her in to avoid this.

Also Rose doesn't have any info about the son. :/

Oh I mean ask her where to find info about the son, and she will direct you to the phone to call the archive at home, but since I guess your options are bugged, it's no use. The way you get rid of Gloria isn't too important though, unless you're going for 100% completion.

Oh I mean ask her where to find info about the son, and she will direct you to the phone to call the archive at home, but since I guess your options are bugged, it's no use. The way you get rid of Gloria isn't too important though, unless you're going for 100% completion. :BEgloomy:

Thanks for the help though, I appreciate it. I did already find out that Gloria's son is dead and you pretend to be him while I was frantically looking for a way to get passed this issue. But I'm assuming that if I just do work and get enough points for the promotion then I can just move on and pretend it didn't happen. (Bummer about the 100% completion though T_T)

This is still a thing, I'm having the exact same issue. Will have to reload an old save too then :/

Hey, I thought that I was stuck at that point too, but then I noticed that I can call the psychatry from home and pretend to be her son. So there seems to be another option to get rid of her
