What data are you using to say it isn't selling well?
Listen Mr.Terry, your opinion doesn't matter. :)
To be fair, the bad controller argument is moot considering that Capcom fixed it with the use of the analog stick.
Hey, Tank Controls are the best! No seriously, I feel the "fix" doesn't really do much, but worsen the experience. But it all depends on the person, I guess. Tank controls with fixed backgrounds are kind of second nature to some.
I agree. As someone else had already typed up, Capcom is gauging interest for the series. They also replaced the soundtrack with a new one (the previous soundtrack was "made" by a composer who claimed to be deaf and later admitted that he used a ghost composer to make the ost) and re-recorded the Japanese voice acting. On top of the texture improvements, I am sure it cost a bit to do.
I would not be shocked if Cpacom releases a 4 pack with the first game being the Genma version. If they do, ppl will complain even though it hasa new content.
There is an option to turn the tank controls function on, so we all win! :)
I didn't say it's that bad, but I said it would sell way better as a trilogy and at a higher price.
I've checked the "all-time peaks" on game charts, here it is and some examples to compare:
https://steamcharts.com/app/761600
https://steamcharts.com/app/304240
https://steamcharts.com/app/587620

and I know it's a full new game but MHW had over x500 more players at release than Onimusha.
This is what Capcom and other companies care about the most, a mere x2 of onimusha's sales would make all the difference, and probably HD development for the rest of the series (at least quicker), of course this is just my hunch.
and unlike OP I can tell THIS IS A GOOD GAME (- the non-skip able cutscenes, missing rest of the series) it deserves better.
