Onimusha 2 and 3

I really hope Capcom remasters Onimusha 2 and 3 as well. Onimusha 2 had always been my favorite one and to play on Steam would make me so happy.

Or did they give up seeing the sales of Onimusha 1 remastered ?
( that's just an assumption I don't know if it sold that poorly).

I hope not. I'll be fine with a low effort port that has updated background art that doesn't look like ♥♥♥♥ in 1080p and analog movement. That's the only thing I need to be completely sold on Onimusha 2 remaster.

If the sales for Onimusha were low then it's Capcom's own fault. They had the chance to surprise everyone with a bundle of all Onimusha games at a reasonable price, instead they released the first with barely any graphic update at a ludicrous price.

Onimusha 2 was my fav.
I hope they just reboot/remake the franchise.
I mean DMC gets all this love, but Oni was like DMC's brother in a sense. They were both like a one, two punch for the opening years of PS2.

No, Onimusha would not work as a souls game. Onimusha 2 already has a superior fighting system and is the absolute best in the series overall with the PS2 version of 3 running a close second.

Would buy. Love moving my old game library to Steam and Onimusha is a series that I have all the PS2 discs for (except Blade Warriors).

I remember many years ago when they announced a new Onimusha game after Dawn of Dreams and then it turned out to be a cards game and a weird spin-off of some kind...
