Feelings from the last decision [SPOILERS]
THIS DISCUSSION CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS ABOUT THE "HELPING THE RESISTANCE" ROUTE.

When you are about to go in the final Trial, your lawyer gives you the option of giving a little favor as a thanks from DEES, the options for me where: "Tell Aiori Im in Tuland" "Help Katja" "Look out for my Mom" "Nothing". I choose "Help Katja", because Aiori already had a life, Katja was Exiled, god knows what would happen to her. The Lawyer says that people are exiled at random, but they will keep an eye on them. I was kinda sad at the tought of never meeting Aiori again, but as the end scene put it. "I guess that's how real goodbye feels like"

So this game really gave me the feels. And I think that decision makes those feelings more unique.
That was my experience, and I would really like to hear yours! What did you choose? why? how it make you feel?

Hi Morgan,

I personally love games that can make me empathize with the characters, so I'm glad to hear what you felt about those choices. Thank you for sharing! :)

Sorry for necro, but just finished 100% cheevos with this game and had the same feeling in my last playthrough.

If you watch all the way through past the credits, there's a "3 months later" news update. With the ability to grow their own food, people are leaving Iden and building their own shelters. "Many people who have been exiled are believed to be living here". Katja's exile is sentenced for a week from the court hearing meaning Quinn and DEES have plenty of time to intercept her before she's sent off. It's very likely she's living her best life in the outskirts, free and happy and foodful.
And seriously, I loved Iori but during your court hearing, Iori doesn't even remember your name or who you are. The court has to point you out to her. "Mr. Crawford? Oh! Hi, Mr. Crawford!" They reveal that she's only in Iden because her family has been helping the government for years. You were just a job to her. Katja best waifu.
