Just add them. Put them everywhere. Put one in the menu you can use at all times. Put one in the pause menu in fights in real time. Just add them. Just add them!

I toadally get it can be frustrating to not be able to save whenever you want x-x'

But that was a game design choice that was made as EARTHLOCK is a "love letter" to the '90s RPGs. And that was quite common back then.

Our sincere tadpologies about that, but we are not looking into adding more save points to the game for now. I raised your concern to our game designers, though.

Is there a way to save in the world map at all? There is in basically all the 90s RPGs but I can't find it.

Unfortunately, no. You can only save on the frog statues you find in the world.

Okay that's good to know. So far I like the game. I played pretty much all the 90s rpgs. FF 8, 9 xenogears and chrono cross being some of my favorites. You guys definitely captured a lot of the feel but with very graphics.
