Sacred sapling?

I can't seem to find this item (necessary for the Cure Benjo quest. From reading some other posts, it seems I'm supposed to find a shaman near Ramoo who will give some riddles, but the only similar thing I've found is an NPC named Batrog in Tremeltree. (Slightly southwest of the camp). He doesn't give any riddles though, just tells me that he's happy Valruk has been defeated.

I already have the Purified Air, so I know that I'm at the proper time in this quest to find this item, but I'm either missing the right NPC or something else has gone wrong.

Can anyone help?

That's the right guy, but I wonder why he's not giving you the riddles.
Try talking to him with Olia as your field lead, maybe? I recall her being in the conversation scenes when I got the riddles.

Darn, unfortunately I have been (in fact it forces Olia into the lead whenever I talk to him anyway.) I guess there's some chance his dialogue is a riddle, but there's no indication of that. Also, I know that eventually I'm supposed to use Taika to find some items, and she doesn't yet react at any locations within Tremeltree.

Sounds like I might have just hit a bug, but if anyone has any other ideas, I'd appreciate it!

Batrog should have a second dialogue option after "Talk" named "Riddle?".

Please let me know if you have that option available when you talk to him :)
