Does this game have a satisfying ending? (No cliffhangers and such)
The game looks interesting, but I remember reading that it's supposed to be the first game of a trilogy (or something like that). This got me a bit cautious, considering that the Earthlock initially got pretty mixed reviews and they had to spend time and money on making an improved version of it. Don't get me wrong, I would be glad if they managed to pull of a trilogy, but I have to wonder if they have the resources to do so and I've already seen too many promising stories just stopping somewhere in the middle because of financial issues or the creators just giving up on them halfway through.

That's why I'm asking: Has the whole trilogy plan changed? And if it hasn't: Does Earthlock have a satisfying conclusion, that answers all important questions, so that it wouldn't be that bad if the sequels never got made? Or do you really feel that this story was supposed to be a trilogy and it ends with a giant cliffhanger?

Thanks in advance for your answers! :)

Yes, it has a satisfying ending. The story does wrap up and you won't feel like you have to wait for the next game to come out in order to get a conclusion. The game is pretty self-contained imo.
