Just a PSA about reporting a bug.

I love this game, dont get me wrong its great. But customer support is garbage. On my second play through I gave myself 99x of all items. Turns out that if you do that and travel to Plumpet, you get stuck and its game over for that save file. The staff memember said basically "whatever" and closed my ticket. A BUG IS A BUG, this should be fixed but that support is trash, atleast what I got.

I legit reported a bug, and now have to scrap my game file all together because of them.
Guess thats the support you get for Kickstarting their game.

Sorry to hear that you think our costumer support is garbage.

As I told you in your support ticket,
'there is code and events in the game that are reliant on a number of items, and by using a trainer to give yourself 99 of all items the system can and will start malfunctioning.
The only thing I can recommend is to start over and play the game without using cheat software.'

I did not say "whatever", I tried to explain that the issue is the game files being tampered with.

By using a trainer you're manipulating the game (direct edit in the RAM) to work in a way that the programmers never intended. This will often cause stability issues.

Even if you could give yourself 99 of all items without being stuck on Plumpet, I can almost guarantee that you would run into another problem down the road as the game is not programmed to be played that way.

Please remember that we did not make the trainer software you are using.
If you should direct your support request anywhere, I think it should be to the people that made the trainer.

Am I reading this right Deaththreat? Because if I am, then this has got to be one of the most idiotic statements/forum posts I've ever read.

You come crying to the forum, because the developer is unable to assist you in fixing the game that you yourself managed to softlock because you used an unauthorized third party cheat client.

I refuse to believe that this is anything other than a cheap effort to troll, because no one is this dense.

This is like modifying your car by yourself, by using third party parts, and then complain to the car manufacturer when your car doesnt run like it's supposed to.

I feel your frustration, but you are being very unfair to Øystein and the whole team by giving us a negative review based on something someone else have done. There is simply no way we can fix this problem for you.

The cheat program you are using is hacking our program, and so it is the hacking software that is causing the problem.

On plumpet the game code is looking to see if you have items in your inventory and various items drive various events through out the game. You are in a way asking us to completely rewrite all the code in the game that has to do with events and cut scenes, in order for you to use a cheat program.

Please appreciate that reviews really matter for us developers.

It's not a bug though, you aren't supposed to have 99 of all items that early in the game. Maybe your reading comprehension isn't as good as it should be.

Your complaint is invalid, your review should also be invalid. Please respect the creators enough to delete your review, because you are artificially lowering their score with a problem that you yourself created.
