There seems to be a patch for this at http://hawkdawg.com/rrt/rrt3/rrt3.htm but the link is dead, and I can't download it. Anyone has this file handy around??
If you need help with this, go to the link below and chooes your router, and then Railroad Tycoon III from the list.

If this game is "great" on multiplayer, then I might suggest you find a First Person Shooter where the "teams" are battling it out, but each person gets a different city. Player one sees New York City, player two sees Chicago, player three sees San Francisco, player four sees Anchorage, player five sees Brazil, player six sees London, UK, player seven sees Paris, France, etcetera. Now that would be an awesome FPS if you think this game is great on multiplayer!
I should note we were playing on a LAN. It should not be rocket science keeping LAN games synchronized. The fact they botched it so badly is a real disappointment as I was really looking forward to sharing a network with a close friend.
I usually play at Very Slow speed, but in multiplayer games this causes the animation speed of everything, including trains, to slow down.
This makes everything appear to stutter or move in a slower frame-like way.
This kinda makes me sad since it basically makes me not want to play it multiplayer, so I was wondering if anyone knows a way around it?
I might be able to play multiplayer with someone too sometime, though I'd much prefer a fix for this before hand.
