i don't find the freeplay mode, the scenario have always a time limit....

Sandbox does not let you make a company, and you have unlimited money. Isn't there a way to play regular scenarios without a time limit?

Is there still no way to do free play mode... :/ I want to play us from the earliest not some crappy sandbox mode where everything is free there's no fun to that :/

Start a single player scenario, press Shift+E to enter the editor. Look for the events that signal the end of the game (usually labeled victory silver, gold, etc). Delete those. Press Shift+E to go back to the game. Profit.

okay but what if i wanted to set the tiem earlier than allowed in the scenario

It looks like the earliest the editor allows is 1829. If you could start before that, it wouldn't change much, just that no new trains would be available for a really long time.

Side note: you can start the editor from the main menu>extras screen, then load the map you want or start from scratch. I'm not sure if it's really any different from the other way.

cant seem to be able to edit a scenario(coast to coast) and then start it as a new game, in the editor i have the "campaign scenario" box checked in the general settings and it never shows up in the "scenario" list. Also i even set the maximum start date at 1829 and the editor always loads it at 1870.

There is no "legit" freeplay, since sandbox includes an editor, and scenarios include timers and objectives, but I see no problems playing Scenarios and just ignoring the objective and using "continue playing" if you reach objective anyway
