Mystery Loco?

I saw online somewhere that there was apparently a steam supertrain (like the DD 080-X and E88), but after doing some hunting I couldn't find anything. Does this locomotive even exist or am I on drugs?

I have the original version of CD, complete with the locomotive chart. Doesn't include the Coast To Coast expansion ones, but what it does contain is that exact locomotive, except everything's in silhouette and no information given. I'm looking for it myself and if I find it I'll let you know. I do remember it was unlockable with the "Trains Are In My Blood" cheat, but I'm hoping there's an official way of getting it.

After typing that, I did find it online. It's the Orca NX 462 and it's a steam train designed to resemble and orca whale.

It's towards the bottom of middle of the list. Steam powered, 1941-End, 104 mph, $200,000 cost with $24,000 annual maintenance.

Found it. It's in the Orient Express scenario. It unlocks as part of the normal gameplay after an events with the monks in Chisinau, if I'm understanding it correctly.

I knew about the Orca, but is it really the mystery steamer? If so, there's a lot left to be desired

I believe it is. It's the only one I remember that isn't on the chart in the base set of the game. If I find out otherwise, I'll try to let you know.

If that's it, that is so sad. The Orca falls behind so hard the other superlocos. Even the Red Devil is better than it
