If your running windows 10 the one on the right is the patch Vista/Win 7/Win 8 Fix Read the -Read Me- drag and drop file into correct folder Railroad tycoon should be in Program files (x86) / in SteamApps and then common and the game should be in there.

This is a correct fix. It now launches and plays on my WINDOWS 10 64bit. I want to add to this.... turn off multi screens or monitors. The game will struggle to adjust to graphics card setups also. Throwing windows you have open all over the place and difficult to pull game up and see it. Altho it doesnt crash game, it sure throws heck if you run multi screens and try and play the game.

IT does work with multi screens. You just need a really stable computer because your graphics and settings will result in mucho screen flickering, open window resizing and throwing all around your screens. But it does work.

I just dl the configuration.zip file from here which have a 1920*1080 resolution. Worked perfectly fine !

Posted my fix, hope you can get it working.

I have RRT3 running fine in Windows10. The only time I experience a CTD is when I add a mod into the data folder. Then I removed the new mod (locomotive, rolling stock, buildings, etc, which ever one is the offender) and all is well again. I used the v106 patch linked from hawkdawg.com, following the simple instructions. Note: I have not tried the Trainmaster mod yet.
