RT3 crashing on startup

I have tried the Hawk and Badger, CFG file fix allready, had no effect, i am runing windows 10.

Same x3. I've verified cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled. Have also checked windows firewall.

welp for me aparently jist manually deleating everything in the folfer of RRT3 and reinstalling with the normal fix... well it works now... derp

same here, cannot play. Game will start opening sequence and crashes within 10 seconds or mouse click. Perhaps this should not be sold on Steam until this is resolved.

I am also running win10 and I am wondering when Steam is going to do something about fixing RT3 to run. I have tried the hawk and badger fixes with no results I don't know what else to try and think that steam should be the ones to do the fixing; seeing as they are charging people money to get the game. If they can provide the game they should provide and do a complete fix so we can play. I paid good money now for a game that doesn't work or run. Please get this fixed or give us our money back.

I'd like to get the patch but you ahve to go through a whole bunch of hoops to even download it! Including giving up your first born.

The fix worked with 1.05, does NOT seem to work with 1.06. All posts regarding this and other issues seem to be very old. Running Windows 10 64-bit.

Ich habe win 10 64bit. RT3 hat funktioniert, doch seit ein paar Wochen bricht beim Ladem immer im Hauptmenue ab mit dem Fehler "RT3 funktioniert nicht mehr- das Programm wird aufgrund eines Fehlers nicht mehr ausgeführt-.engine.cfg wired immer automatisch installiert.

I have tried replacing the engine.cfg, but still it doesn´t work! What am I doing wrong? I have the RT3 steam version (1.05).
Downloaded the correct engine.cfg from hawkdawg.com.

The bottom line is this game isn't compatible with... any modern operating systems. It belongs on GOG, not Steam.

Activate safe mode, deactivate T&L and full screen. The problem is when you open the game on Fullscreen and deactivating this or playing only on safe mode should let you play.
