Ball landing positions

Hi, I may be missing it but can someone tell me if i can change the landing circle when returning a shot?. I have no issues on most courts but on grass i find it hard to see.

Hello,

did you install the XKT Mod ? In the original game, there's no circle, but arrows & the Danger Zone.

If yes, you might be able to change this texture : Settings -> Profile -> Show ModIo Folder -> 2972171_4693711\XKT\Models\Textures\BallPreview.tga .

Sorry I should be more specific ha. Everything is fine when returning the ball but I find it hard to see the green circle on my opponents side when playing on grass or a green surface when I hit a good return.

I will have a look at this though, fantastic game and hands down the best Tennis game out there

Oh, you mean the Aiming Zone, then, right ?

I just checked and it's very visible in the original game because the grass color is darker and less colorful than the Aiming Zone.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the Aiming Zone color because it's set in the code (coz it changes between Red, Orange & Green).

I think the easiest way would be to locate the grass texture in the Mod folder and change its color in Photoshop.

And I'm glad to know you enjoy the game that much !

And yes, after a while, you should try to play without the Aiming preview, but if you prefer to play with it, it's totally fine as well : the important is to have some fun playing..! :-)
