Get the player bases from the Modding SDK instead
=> https://www.managames.com/Forum/topic11-31376.php
Then in-game, click on Settings -> Profiles -> Open Data Folder (on the bottom right) ; you should see the "Mods" folder in the opened folder.
There copy the player base like this :
Mods\MySuperMod\Ini\Players.ATP.ini
Or if you started a game before the SubBuild 2023.2.4, copy this one instead :
Mods\MySuperMod\Ini\v2\Players.ATP.ini
Notes :
- you can change "MySuperMod" to anything you want
- don't add ".ini" to "Players.ATP" ; if you see that, it means your Windows hides the ".ini", but it will still work correctly

===== How to get the player bases from the game ======
Hello,
to get the bases :
1- launch the game, go to Settings -> Profiles and click on the Show Data Folder icon on the bottom left, then close the game
2- in that folder, create a "Ini" subfolder
3- in that folder, edit Tennis.ini (or the .ini of your Profile, if you have created one) and change this line, under [WT_Static], from :
SavePlayerIni = 0
to:
SavePlayerIni = 1
4- save & close Tennis.ini
5- launch the game, start a new game on the Women Tour if the current game is on the Men Tour, and vice versa
6- you'll have now both player bases in Data
EDIT:
I had forgotten : I also put online the Modding SDK, with the player bases : http://www.managames.com/download.php?TEM2-ModdingSDK_bs1.zip .
I'm glad to know you enjoy the game !
If you have the time & the mood, a positive review in the Steam Store page would be very welcome. (and also a very short one for TEM1 would be helpful ! :-) )
If you didn't set SortTourIni to 0, then it's normal it invalids the saved games, as it's changing the tournament order.
Anyway, I hadn't used SaveTourIni for a long time, so I'm not sure it's working at 100%... :-)
But I have a difficult time to change names.
Managed to change the players name by using the ini from the demo version. I don't know how I got it to work but I did. But after I deleted it wanting to install the one from your zip-file TEM2modding I just can't get it to work no more. I don't have any folder named "Supermod", just the "Mods" folder. I have put the ini "PlayersATP" in that map. Is there something else I have to do?
I have tried to " [WT_Static], from : SaveTourIni = 0 to: SaveTourIni = 1." I have restarted the game like 20 times. Can't get it to work again. Really frustrating because the game is only fun with the real players names. Please help : (
just create the "Supermod" folder (and whatever name suits you) and then copy the files you want from the Modding SDK, matching the additional subfolder, so you'll have this file :
Mods\MonSuperMod\Ini\Players.ATP.ini
