Can't plant mystery seed

I have the mystery seed, but can't plant it. Is there a trigger you have to reach before you can plant it? Nothing happens when I select it in the plant menu.

^ Having the same issue. As far as I'm aware I've progressed as far as I can on all other questlines.

I tried to plant it like a tree, it doesn't work. And i\ seem to be a point where I can't progress without it.

Try to plan it in the flower pot first.

.....what flower pot? there is no flower pot untill after you meet Lily. you don't meet Lily untill after you plant the seed....so how do flower pot?

I am having this exact same problem! Maybe its a bug? I have tried restarting the game and it doesn't help.

Yes, we have encountered this bug right now and we're fixing it. In a couple of hours should be a patch fixing it.

I don't remember my level but it must be around 14 or 15 and I still can't find the seed, it's frustrating because I'm standing without being able to advance in the story, there is no other choice but to do this, hopefully it works
