Mysterious Flower Pot Seed

So I've done many quest, am level 23, however the meterorites aren't dropping anything but crystals. Is there something I need to do to trigger the event?


Going to add this possible solution recently mentioned. If it don't work try the post magic.

for those having issues make sure the registry value is set

I set the value to 1 and finally got the seed

is it possible that perhaps if you complete nidawis second quest, then complete the third before a meteor falls, it cancels the trigger for the mystery seed?
I heard there's new content but I'm on a new comp, so I have to play from the beginning again. I've completed more than 2 of Nidawis quests and meteors have fallen since then, but I still don't have any mystery seed. meteors haven't been giving me any seeds for a while now. just now the game dropped 3 meteors at once, 1st time that's happened this play through. no seeds of any kind.

I am also stuck on this, but I have the mysterious seed in my inventory, but it won't let me plant it anywhere. It shows up next to the bush seeds, but nothing happens when I press space to plant it. Is there a trick to this that i am missing?

Yes, we have encountered this bug right now and we're fixing it. In a couple of hours should be a patch fixing it.

I've been playing a while now and have not received the seed. I've done all the quests I could up until this point and I'm a little worried I may have messed up the meteor landing. If they fall in a place where they can't be retrieved and disappear does it affect me getting the seed?

Now that you've posted here surely you will see it fall for you. Everyone here had the same issue and it all seems to be resolved the same way.

Alternatively we've been given this solution.

I'm gonna try this cos i've ran out of ideas, no seed, no bat wings and i'm at a complete standstill. Deiland currently feels like a rock smashing simulator since that's all I can do until the pirate comes to empty my cart or a bat spawns or god forbid this bloody seed falls! 12 meteorites fell since the apparent trigger and i've had nothing but crystals
