Savegame Location (PC)
I started to play this game on my laptop and would like to transfer the world I payed to my pc. Since the data is not (yet?) synced using Steam I am looking for the location of the savegame to transfer it manually.
Found nothing so far in the usual locations (Steam userdata folder, Appdata local or roaming, local dopcuments...). Has anyone found the location, or can one of the devs please let us know how to transfer savegames?

Hi there! The game don't have a save file, you have to enter in the Registry Editor in Windows and find the folder called Chibig. There, you can export the folder Deiland (it will give you a .reg file) and you can import it in the registry editor of the other computer. The route for this folder should be Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Chibig\Deiland

Tell us if you have any other problem and we'll try to fix it!

It would be great if there was an easier way to find this file. I go between several computers throughout the day.

Hello,

Is planned to also use the steamcloud for the saves? I usually put all my save games into either my local subversion or owncloud solution so that in case I hae to reinstall my operating system (which happens from time to time) I dont lose anything.

Thing is with a steam library full of games its hard to remember all of them...

So easy access to the games save for transfer to a different operating system, or integration with steam sync would be amazing :-)

Hi! We take note about this and we're gonna check if this is possible for us. Thank you so much for your feedback and your suggestion!

Ah, glad somebody else remembered to ask about this. I've been meaning to and kept forgetting. Wanted to let my little sister start her own file on the game, while I'm too busy to be playing it myself. =)

My PC got wrecked and my save is gone, everything I've accomplished is gone.

Same. My SSD died and I had backups of the folders, but not the registry, so my save is gone too. I guess I won't be finishing this game, unless I find a saved game where the story is where you reached the ice planet.
