Yeah, ofc XD I played for 7-8 hours last few days and met not even one cheater :) Maybe you're just bad?
Ah, another reason to not play V5 haha. But that's very interesting, thank you. Your answer legitimately gave me context and clarity to my confusion. Anyway yeah you're definitely right about the Banu Haqim poison lol.
Dear Bloodhunt Devs,
Boolet no work good against Kindred. Boolet make hole, no bleed, no lead poisoning. Hole heal fast. Kindred kill shooter, maybe eat.
Sincerely,
The people you should have asked to help with your game (IE the people who play the TTRPG).
It feels like you reverted the game to the state it was months ago when everybody quit due to, as you said yourself in the patch notes, having no real chance to develop because of going against veterans all the time.
Aim assist, NPCs spawning in walls, red gas in the "safe zone" - those issues I'm not even going to elaborate on, but there they are. I like the new weapon though. It's really fun.
It's not that bad, but it definitely has glaring and obvious flaws in it's combat system. Also they got rid of Elder levels of power (Dot 6+) but re-balanced some of the Elder powers and put them in the dot 4-5 range. What makes Elders strong and scary now is their blood potency which adds bonus dice to discipline rolls (Using and resisting them), lets them heal more a turn, reroll rouse checks on more powerful powers, and let's them blood surge (aka blood buff) with far more dice.
This is why Ventrue in Bloodhunt have Flesh of Marble which used to be an elder Protean power, but now it's a dot 5 Fortitude power in v5. Oh, and in v5 they got rid of blood points for some odd reason and added a hunger mechanic. Essentially if you wake up, use powers, use blush of life, heal, blood surge, etc.... you roll a rouse check.
Toss a single d10 down and If you pass with a 6-10 your hunger remains the same, but if you fail with a 1-5 your hunger goes up by 1. On all rolls but willpower, humanity, and other similar rolls you replace dice with hunger dice equal to your hunger rating, and these dice cannot be rerolled by spending willpower. Yes.... willpower doesn't give an autosuccess, but instead lets you reroll up to 3 normal dice, and difficulty got reworked to mean how many successes you need to pass instead of how high you needed to roll to get 1 success.
There's a lot of changes in it lol.
I prefer the 20th anniversary stuff (V20, W20, M20 et cetera) and Exalted. Not a fan of the 5th edition stuff and based on your description... I think I'll still with 20th lol.
