How strong is the aim assist?

I seem to just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by Playstation players if they're close to me 1v1, even if they have basically no health they always win the fight the moment they manage to look in my direction. It's getting to be a pain in the ass, how strong is it exactly?

it baffles me that games have aim assist built in, its just an inbuilt aimbot, devs need to sort their heads out

you dont need a right stick if ur using controller thats how strong it is. it actually tracks and aims for you

Aim-Assist needs to not be more than 10-20% in this game. The way it works now its literal aimbot

This seems accurate, from what I've witnessed its constant 100% aim. It seems way to overpowered. Even Apex isn't this bad.

I've been getting beamed by PS4 players with only a pixel of my head showing, then you get up close to them and it's like fighting a baby where their aim assist doesn't work.
