This game is overrun by hackers

Quick and simple, this game is overrun by hackers and people that literally spend their entire time away from sleep inside this game. There is no reason for a regular person/player to play this game anymore.



The long version (A lot of salt and hate covering the constructive criticism ):

The devs are literally paying no attention to the community and do whatever they want. I have read countless copy-paste responses on this discussion forum by SharkMob Devs that I am considering them bots just like the player-base they are currently cater to. A person saying "don't play this game, overrun by hackers" is responded by "we are aware of the bug". Like people cheating is a bug... Maybe Bethesda will call it a feature some day.

The game's numbers are literally ♥♥♥♥. You can toss in 400 damage in total, but the revolver-headshot ratio is apparently what matters. I can toss in 100 shots of minigun into a guy, they SLOWLY turn around and then two-shot me with ANY weapon. Well, guess only headshots deal REAL damage then. Another point for aimbots and cheaters, I guess

The issue of how to report cheaters... I cannot report half the people killing me in Solo mode. I cannot report ANY player at all in Team Hunts. You have to spectate the player you want to report, which you cannot control. It is either your alive team-mate or your LAST killer, which is 1 out of 4 people killing you on average in a match of Solo, just saying

Levels of hacking increase by the minute. Honest players drop playing, increasing cheating players. The cheaters get away with even more ridiculous cheats, up and including wall-hack and aimbot (instant-headshots no matter which weapon, which distance and which mobility) and in rarer but still noticable instances damage and health hacks (i.e. one-shotting with pistols or snacking an entire magazine of assault rifle hits without dropping dead, while as usual, simply two-clicking their left mouse button for win )

95% of my deaths have turned into one of two cases. Hacker/cheater and people with level 200+ accounts (meaning they have spend at least an absurd amount of money for cheating or an absurd amount of time in the game for "casual" players to even consider playing against. The last option is more a BR issue in general, but should be less of an issue if there was a large(r) player-base... oh wait )



TL;DR Devs are really not paying attention, or fake it 'til they make it. Another Vampire 5th Edition problem condensed into a single example of how modern (post-2000s) mentality is the most toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you could experience...

I think there is nothing more said than that I will occasionally drop into the game for the cosmetics until it dies

It's not just this game, all BR games are full of them. This game is no exception. Not just BR's either, all online games now basically.

i run into hackers very rarely. Most of the time they dont have movement and I win. Just report them and they will get banned really quick. Check the stat tracker website and most only play a few games before getting banned

As a regular player I think I've only run into a hacker once that I 100% knew was hacking. I've only played 25 hours though so I'm not sure if that's a big enough sample size.

Maybe I've run into more hackers, but I haven't seen any major hacking and if they were it didn't affect me. When I lose I know why I lost, and I usually end up top 5.

Agreed this game is infested with hackers. I'm close to uninstalling it unless something gets done. I love the movement in this game and the concept but there's a reason this game is dying. Even Shroud said there were hackers. Of course it put it nicely cause that's what Shroud does but it's terrible

There is an element of getting gud.. but theres still hackers 1000%. Ran across another one:
They were fighting to their left, i was coming up on their right, they were already shooting, and one snaps to me while i'm behind a wall and the others join in. It's crazy man.

nearly 500 hours here, met less than 10 hackers so far, dunno what you people are on about. Earlier this morning, someone accused LonnieQP (a streamer) that he is hacking. When Lonnie is clearly not hacking but a very good player. 90% of hack accusers are like this, they have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idea what they talk about.

I agree, I've had my fair share of hitting targets with no shields for days and they just don't die. You spectate the kill cam and they still have 80 health lol. Ate the whole clip no problem.

Yes, the TTV accounts are also hacking. Speedrun and ESport communities report a lot on hackers lately.

I got killed by a TTV account once, checked Twitch for their channel and saw blatant hacking, like literally turning away from the screen and still shooting and hitting targets.

And yes, of course, there are numerous "good players" that look like hackers in the beginning, but usually those are accounts with higher levels (of which there are VERY FEW in Bloodhunt, the average account is around the 20s to 40s).
