It can be difficult to appease the playerbase, as they seem to be eager to proclaim every setback as doom for the game. I am not a fan of battle royales myself, and only picked up this game tentatively because I like VtM, and found myself pretty hooked.
That being said, I have a lot of friends who are more PvE players and would definitely be onboard with any such content down the road, as would I. It would help grow the player pool if people could take refuge from PVP from time to time. The AI for the Hunters is pretty good, and you could probably do something awesome with objective-based matches, assassination-style missions, or even boss battles.
A lot of people play this game passionately for the universe it's set in, not because it's a BR.
People like us care about fun gameplay, character development and customisation (not leaderboards).
Which is why for me at least it's a bit frustrating to have cool cosmetics locked behind sweaty ranked mode tiers :(
I wouldn't make it 100%. But perhaps make solo 30 players instead of 40 and the last 10 make them cultists.
It would shorten the queue time whilst giving everyone a chance to kill something, regardless of skill level, assuming that cultists are weak.
Solo is also the only way you can do this, unless you make squads of cultists in trios/duos.
I must not pay attention very well.
What do they even look like?
Not even sure if I've met one!
I think there's a lore entry for them, but at the moment, I couldn't tell you.
To be fair, I'm just shooting anything that moves. Sometimes that involves civilians...
Gotta try and get the jump on these youngsters at any cost!
Who knows what I'm firing at!
They look like 'dumb' Anarchs aka other Players/Vampires. They have a bit of a white glow around them compared to Human controlled Anarchs.
