anyone able to maintain 240 fps constant?
I can get up to 240 in some instances but on rooftops often it will drop as low as 130 to 200
if you can maintain 240 in all circumstances I'd like to know your computer specs
found no performance increase between 1080 ti and 3090 ti
now looking to overclock the CPU which will require better cooling

not your computer its the games optimization

I can maintain 240 in 1440p when i lower render resolution to 80-85, rest is ultra.
But i play 4k 120hz and i like that more in this game(i usually use the 240hz 1440p in other shooters but not here). It just looks great on a decent screen
I have drops sometimes, but its rare enough so i dont notice it.

Your eyes can't see past 60fps. Anything above that is just rendering frames multiple times. Waste of GPU resources.

Actually what you are talking about is wrong.
Eyes can see past 60fps and you can clearly feel the difference between 60hz, 144hz and 240hz.

yeah not sure where you heard all that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that your eyes can't see past 60 fps, our eyes don't work as fps. And yes we can see more than 60 fps, you can definitely see a difference from 60 to 144hz on a monitor, so its not a waste, you are just bullshitting.

I know what I'm talking about. I'm a gamer of 30+ years.

Anything over 60fps is wasted frames. At 120fps its rendering every frame twice. At 180fps its rendering each frame three times. At 240fps its rendering every frame four times.

Refresh rate is different. It doesn't have a direct relation to it.

Do you even know how frame rates work?

The only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here is you.

Your eyes surely cannot.

No, you are not a gamer, you are just plain stupid.
Your eyes are not digital, they don't see in frames per second.
They are analogue.
Do you know what that means? Do you know the difference between a digital and an analogue thermometer?

Also, this is where it shows that you're not a real gamer, you're a console brat playing on a TV.
120fps renders twice IF AND ONLY IF you play on a 60hz screen, - which NO GAMER does. Only console brats.
240fps is the same, it renders once, and only once every frame, on a 240hz screen.

Oh yeah, your last statement is also a fail. Refresh rate has a direct relation to fps. But I'm not gonna explain that to you, if you have higher iq than age, just google it up and next time think and read before talking.

Brother, are you freaking stupid? There is a clear difference between 60fps/hz vs 120fps/hz vs 240fps/hz. I just guess you never tried out a high refresh rate monitor? Just look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKjI4CYThjg

Dude, you're trying to explain rocket science to an ape.
Doesn't worth the effort, its just an ape.

Of course you wont notice 120FPS on a 60hz monitor. Then you are simply bottlenecked by the monitor. But if you run 120FPS on 120HZ its a day and night difference. Games are less suttery, have less blurr, you have less input lag etc. I played for 5 years on a 60HZ monitor, and even switching to 75FPS/HZ was a massive difference for me.
