I installed the game but never launched it. Was the anti cheat malware still installed?
Or does it only install itself when you click play? because i uninstalled the game just wana make sure theres no residual files left over.

There's no malware in the first place, please don't join that FUD train.

An anti-cheat usually only installs itself upon booting up the game, though. So if you never started it, it was likely never installed.

Hello. I am one of the devs at Sharkmob. The anti-cheat software we are using for Bloodhunt had two bugs in it at release. One such bug resulted in the application sometimes running for up to 90 seconds after shutting down the game. The other bug resulted in some files being left on the drive after uninstall (the bugs are in fact connected). Both of these bugs have been fixed and patched. There is no spyware in Bloodhunt, only an anti-cheat that functions the same way as most others used through out the industry. The community member who initially discovered the issue has even confirmed that it was bug related and nothing else.

Nice to get an answer, but would more appreciate if u could give information why the game wont launch at all after updates. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of messages about this on your forums. Any update to those of us who cant still launch the game?

Did you set it to DX12 and are trying to run it with RivaTuner enabled?
