Its a quit Good Skill if no High Spot is in Range
It's no lamer than skullsplitter. That one takes 25% off your accuracy in order to set your crit to 100%. If you give Dux the hat with the +20% crit from higher ground and the mutation that's +50% crit chance from higher, you can use moth wings to ensure a 100% shot that has a 70% crit chance. There are times when you need to be SURE you at least put on the normal damage.
It also lets you have Dux behind full cover for a shot that would normally be a lower % because of range/enemy cover, and have him fly up in the air for a shot then instantly drop back into his nicely covered hidey-hole.
Sort of. You can enter combat, but not actually be close enough for the enemy to see. Then you can switch to Dux and have him use moth wings. then you leave combat before the enemy has spotted you.
If you find that scrap is in inaccessible locations because of explosions or something, you can generally leave the area and come back. Sometimes you can just walk under it and collect it from the floor above.
I guess it must be because I'm used to playing on Very Hard (where the mutations don't auto-refill), but I wouldn't blow a mutation on housekeeping.
