Can't Finish The Castle of Light

I've listened to the NPC in The Castle of Light, went over to the level The Unenlightened and killed everything there. When I come back to The Castle of Light all of the enemies just stand there and don't have any radius around them. I can't go into combat. Is this level bugged?

No. Didn't you hear about a room the key goes to? You have a choice between using the key or returning it to Lux. He's located upstairs in the big building.

I didn't get or see any key.

I can't remember how it's acquired for sure but's most likely loot from a kill. If not then on a table? I suggest going back and looking very carefully. I guess if all else fails exit then game the reload a save before you even went into that zone for the first time incase it's a glitch.

The key is in the 'Unenlightened' map, go to the area where the 'tank' enemy was. It's located around there, between the two buildings.

And Lux and his Tribe will only switch to Red if you use the Key to Open his Sanctum.
If you give him the Key he will stay Friendly.

Ok got it now. I got confused because I didn't see a key anywhere in my inventory and without knowing I had it it just seemed odd how the enemies were behaving once you get back from The Unenlightened. Thanks everyone!

hi, i got the same problem, wiped out the unlightened area, but can't find any key, i get back to the area several times and looked everywhere but i can't find it,

as all my saves are past that moment,

i guess it's another bug and i'll have to redo the whole game...
