If you're being completely out-levelled, it's possiblt to sneak through some of the maps to the next one without engaging anybody whilst picking up some loot on the way.
I can't deny that the encounters are challenging though because they are, but I've not really found any that feel impossible, yet.
I don't think I'll be touching the harder difficulty levels though if it's going to do what XCom does and bump enemy health whilst reducing your damage output because the health to damage ratio is already on the stern side at normal difficulty.
I'll try again but i've come across groups that stick together, and are unable to be picked off 1 by1. I've rqed for now and will resume tomorrow.
But there are some boxes guarded by tough guys. Yes so you need to pick you fight. If you figure out you can sneak to take every thing, then sneak. Always fight for loot boxes that are guarded. Some fight gives you nothing only xp; if you have skills you need, why bother to take the fight that only gives you nothing but xp.
Then upgrade your stealth weapons. like I said, sneak in to scavenge, you can upgrade ur guns real fast.
Last thing is to take out enemies in one turn. If you upgrade guns and use skills, you should be fine with 1 or 2 enemy. If you can take them down in one turn, prepare for the fight, get some really good position, at least you can have your team amush first to kill one or two before alerting the bunch of enemies
took me ages to do that section as well SNOW , watched a you tube vid with supposed "tactics" but those "tactics" involved being able to take down 2 guys with 12-14 HPs in a single turn due to having chosen the right weapon upgrades , so no help there
Therefore I can imagine, that alot of players will refund it after the first 2 hours due to a quite hard difficult level compared to other games of similar genres.
No, for a great game alot of things are still missing:
- more randomized loot
- possibility to sell loot
- more maps or at least bigger maps with random encounters
- side quests
- more interactive in the arc
- replayability !!!
....
Until now, it´s just a good but difficult stealth tactic game.
Would not be keen on randomized loot and random encounters at all for this game.
