Weapon balancing versus enemies health
during the demo i levelled the crossbow to level 3 as well as the silent pistol, and came to the realization that even if both of them crit(with ranged scopes and +crit damage weapon attachments) there's no way to kill any of the enemies with more than 2 armor in this demo silently.

as i assume the health of enemies relative to yours will only increase as the game goes on, can someone in the know or a dev confirm if there will be much stronger weapons found in the game soon? because otherwise i have no idea how ill be able to complete it if stealth attacks don't allow you to pick off enemies undetected.

Each map only seems to have one or two enemies with any armour so far, if you kill all the other guys first it shouldn't be any trouble. I found it was a bit tricky to get rid of a few of the outliers on the Sea Titans map but you can whittle them down to just the boss.

i just had everyone in my group throw a nade at the hunters and brother bodin(who were grouped up) and it still didn't do enough for my tastes lol. there really should be a way/mechanic to strip or bypass armour i think.

really wish i could get a dev to talk about how the game balance is gonna be during the rest of the game.

tbh I think not being able to kill some enemies silently is part of the design. It would be really weird and too easy if you can kill absolutely everything completely in stealth.

Stealth seemed useful enough.
In the last zone I just setup with rail gun and pipe gun at long range and it was a cake walk. The enemy seems to prioritize ending in overwatch rather than cover.

i dont want to be killing *everything* in stealth, i just wanted to ask a dev whether there's gonna be additional stealth weapons(so borman can have one too) or whether there will be stronger stealth weapons later. because if the average enemy HP keeps increasing it seems likely it'll be impossible to kill *anything at all* in stealth, even with crits.

and given how squishy the stalkers are, that'd necessitate a whole change of playstyle.

if you see enemy with a large trumpet attached to his body you must kill him first from stealth if he survives all you three first attackes he blowa said trumpet and summons 3 more enemys also the bot will attempt to reincarnate him back to life so you have to kill the bot to stop him reviving other enemys

??? i appreciate the advice, but that's not an issue for me. given Borman's charge attack you can stun enemies for two whole turns and just shoot away, making stealth attacks a complete breeze.

my question was about the prevalence and strength of silenced weapons in the full game

since people keep responding to this, the answer is "yes the full game has more stealth weapons and options to pick off enemies before combat starts, and allthought there appears to be some health bloat as the game does on, its fairly manageable as long as you get the right skills and remember to return tothe ark periodically for upgrades."
