Fix the f****** drag racing
Still cant believe that the drag racing has not been fixed. Its like no one played the game before they released it. I have no problem beating any of the normal races on Hard (80% difficulty) but the drag races are literally impossible, even when you lower the difficulty all the way. The worst part is its preventing me from getting new bikes that I need to progress.

Change the bike or get another bike for that event.
It would help alot if u acualy say what event it is.

The drag racing was supposed to have been made easier in one of the patches. I can win every one without the need for addons quite easily - even before the patch so it can be done.

They are not at all impossible.

Yeah I've also never had issues with winning drag races and that was on 130%.

Are you leaning forward when starting, to counteract the wheely?
Also don't look at what the AI says what is the optimal moment to shift, I mostly get better times when fully revving out each gear.

Yes mine were all on 120% too. I didn't have to wait until max revs (apart from getting off the line) before changing but you're right in that it's all about getting off the line in that correct split second.

If you are waiting until told you can start, you are too late. You need to be stabbing on the full power just before the countdown number 1 slides off the screen.

The Iconic route of the 80s, I'm using the Suzuki 500. Ive tried it with full suspension, gearing, all the power mods, Ive also tried it stock because I was reading the AI scales to your mods.

Ive tried it with no wheelie assist, no traction control, holding forward on the left stick. I would be interested to know what peoples times were that able to beat this event.

Same for me, I just CAN NOT beat the "Iconic route of the 80s" event.
OverBoosting Apr 1, 2019 @ 1:31pm
Not sure what happened but I was able to beat them easily a few days ago. Didn't change anything and was running the same times as before. Its like the AI suddenly got easy in the drag races. I will look to see what bike I used and if it had any mods on it.

Buy the lowest level Kawasaki possible... don't upgrade it... go for the kill. If you loose, just exit the event and try again (the oponent bikes will change).

PS: Yes... it's lame... but drag racing is lame... soooooooo... . . . . . . . . .

Adjusted suspension can help with Drag race and time attacks. Stay leaned forward until out of first gear and almost second it helps out a lot. With Drag race you need grip so everything should be set for grip, Same for time attacks adjust suspension for each track do practice runs.

Comenting on an old thread to see if anyone managed to win the H2/H2R drag race without buying the DLC.
