I have no problem in lowering the AI level to give myself a chance. I found my self-esteem can cope with that just fine :-)
My gripe is from the fact that usually the soft spot for the right challenge puts you in a place where you are clearly (much) faster then the AI riders and they become basically moving cones that separate you from the first place. Not much "racing" there. This problem exists since the first days of Gran Turismo and is a result of the common game scheme: start last(ish), you have to win the race and you have three laps to do it. It has become archaic and in 2019 you think you could come up with a less rigid reward system.
Facts hahahahahaha
It's good to see that they are aware of it and are trying to improve. Let's hope it's not just all PR material.
Exactly
Sometimes i am able to win 100%
Sometimes 80% ,then in a few events i have to lower to 50/60%
But the right bike makes difference
