Drag Races impossible

Hello,


I need to do some Drag Race's for the campagne. I'am playing normaly with 50% KI and everything off, but for the Drag Race's i need to do the KI's on 20% and everything on but that doesnt help me. The KI's are everytime faster than me at the start so i have no chance. I have try full throttle, no throttle but then i cant change the gear from N to 1 because you need full throttle for it, change the gears from N to 1 to 2 to 1, helps a bit but the KI's are comming back very fast and i lose. So how can i win Drag Race's now ? Any tips

Only thing that worked for me is to change the gear ratio. Less top speed but more acceleration. And you need on ANY bike you use the complete gearbox upgraded. Another thing, depending on the bike, the upgrades you use to max it out for the competition. I always go for slicks, and engine upgrades, stock brake rotors, caliper etc, stock suspension and stock wheels. But you need to start really good and shift at high revs.

But you can change the gear ratio I guess, before you start of the race? I only drag raced an old Suzuki, one of the first campaign races so far and it was really difficult to win without touching anything.

dude me too, but read again. + and - got switched its not like ride 2 anymore.. maybe u just put some monster long gearsetting instead of that u need .. the dragraces are shorter now

I need a better acceleration (better start) to get first....So i made it to 10. I won with 10 some Drag races now...but not the final....

obviously your bike should be upgraded for acceleration

make gear 1, 2 longer 5 and 6 probably shorter depending on the bike

lean forward during gear 1,2 tuck in afterwards, this might be different depending on the bike (my S1000R still pulls up in 3rd so I have to keep weight longer on the front while cruisers or something like that probably don't wheelie after 1st)

shift manually from 1 to 2 a little bit earlier in the power curve to reduce the rise, not right after the start but just as the front wants to go up

throttle management should be
countdown and start: full throttle
after you reach like half rpm in first gear reduce throttle slowly until you reach the shifting point and then increase throttle steadily again.
Don't treat the throttle as switch that goes on/off

The DTC setting also affects the amount of anti wheelie from the bike itself (the menu option doesn't influence this) but it also reduces your acceleration sligthly, for bigger bikes it's better imo to go for high/full DTC during the first 2 gears

I found one, I'm with the S1000R, in the "4-cylinder naked bikes, europe vs japan", the firts part is hard, but not impossible, the second is impossible, 1h try, multiple setup, the tuono factory keeps beating me...

It's impossible, even in "learner"... FYI I usually play with 80%...

thanks for refuring to my poste. thing is i still haven´t won any of the drag races yet. Tried everything. only the first one whit the suzuki. and that only worked like i said in my poste by making my first 2 gear´s bigger.

I'm not a fan of this part of the game at all, I wanted to get it over with and read the first gear tip but also what helped was setting the throttle to "aggressive". Apart from that, lowering the AI (what is KI and IA btw? perhaps a language thing) makes the drag racing very easy. I guess this only became actually possible with the mysterious first update.

Same here... had the first part (still only came 2nd with a tuono factory)... after that, no chance

AI = artificial intelligence (english)
KI = Künstliche Intelligenz (german)
IA = intelligence artificielle (french)

Are you sure the latest patch affected the AI? I didn't see a difference. Maybe you were just the lucky one in the AI poker?

It doesn't matter if some people can't do it. I have and that means it can be done and to me that is that with regard to the suggestion it isn't possible.
