Is there a way unlock the locked bikes quicker? (Mods/save edits)

The career mode is a real grind, and I just want to enjoy riding all the bikes in time attacks. I managed to get unlimited money by editing the hex values of my save file, so I can buy most of the bikes, but I can’t figure out a way to bypass the levelling/unlocking that’s required for certain bikes. It seems like most of the best bikes are locked behind events, events that would take 10-20 hours to reach in the career mode, let alone clear.

Just wondering if anyone has found a way, or is working on a way to bypass this and unlock the bikes for purchase like all the others? It’d be greatly appreciated as I personally can’t stand the forced slog of career mode. Milestone really should learn from all the other sim-racing devs out there; games like Assetto Corsa, and DiRT Rally give you access to all the cars in freeplay mode, reserving the whole purchasing and running special events for a self contained career mode.

They did it so people don't return the game after they use all the bikes and give up w/ the Superbikes crashing all the time. They want people to grind out at being good doing the slower bikes first. Then when they get to the Superbikes they can still maybe crash but they can't return the game because it's outside the return window envelope.

but some people like me have ride 1 2 and motogp.....and R1 is a basic bike for used people.

I want to use the Panigale V4, at least in quick race or time attack, but I need to play for 100+ hours just to unlock it, seems kinda ridiculous because the bike will be useless at that point because to unlock it you basically have to complete every single career event.

i found a way. you use also your hexa editor C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\ride3\Saved\SaveGames) and open the file "PlayerProfile.sav"
and then transfer your stars that you already have in hexadezimal at this page: https://www.arndt-bruenner.de/mathe/scripts/Zahlensysteme.htm (dezimal to hexadezimal)if you did that search in the hexa editor in text string for playerstarswithoutdlc. Then watch where your for the number or whatever you got on the website in the string and edit it so it says 1F40 after that save it and you can do every race in carrer exept the special ones like Grand Final or the races on the right. Nice one! I managed to do this with Cheat Engine a couple days ago. The problem for me is that even though the events are unlocked, they’re still stupidly hard. I mean some are easy, but there’s a lot of time attacks and track days that are really hard to get gold on. The AI is so inconsistent too, I was playing on 100% but I ended up moving it down to 75%, and even then there’s always one bike that pulls ahead of the rest. Whenever i’m in the lead it feels like rubber-banding is cranked up to maximum! But then on some tracks they’re so slow! I won at Cadwell Park by 10+ seconds on 100%, but then on the same difficulty the AI wiped the floor with me at Donington... I made sure that weird performance balancing option was disabled too, so it’s not that.

I also really don’t like that the career basically forces you to upgrade bikes for certain races and time attacks. A lot of times are impossible without buying a bunch of performance upgrades. Which annoys the crap out of me because i’m a total purist, I love riding the bikes in their stock form, the way the factory intended.

Also one of the bikes I really want (the Bennetts Suzuki superbike) is locked behind an endurance championship, there’s 5 (or 6, can’t remember off the top of my head) 30 lap races to do. That’s multiple hours of tedious riding to get the bike I want, and i’d need to get gold so there’s no point to increasing the difficulty and having a more challenging and fun race, because I NEED to win, so I have to put the difficulty low and just grind out the wins. Not fun.

Oh by the way it is the 'unlimited money' savegame, which allows you to buy all the bikes you would like, rather than unlocking them. Same thing really :-)
