The first time i tried to drift i highsided so hard the game crashed!
i finally figured it out, atleast for myself.
What i had to do was first initiate a drift by pressing downshift and the rear brake at the same time before a corner. Once the rear tire starts doing a black trail you now have to hit the FRONT brake IMMEDIATELY to not flip into space while you're taking the corner and BAM!! The game finally acknowledges you've done a drift!
Silly physics need silly solutions..
That kinda helped me... At first... But then I started to realise that it is still a complete random if it will work, crush me or just dont work at all. And it seems that drift and powerslide are basic elements of supermoto so you wont be effective at actual race if you can't do it.
So maybe Devs should MAKE A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ DRIFT TUTORIAL (or fix drift, anyway I still dont know if it is me who doing it wrong or the game) or we shall sue them because after pointless hours of trying this ♥♥♥♥ my rage is just too strong so I can accidently break my keyboard or monitor and it will be clearly devs fault.
Maybe we need to sign some petition or something? I dont know, but if hell exists it definitly should look like the supermoto drift school level from ride 3. Boring, cruel, pointless, chaotic and painfull. I am not sarcastic. I really think so.
