You launched a game, updated it 3 times and then abandoned it for 5 years. Only to announce that it's now free (post this thread).
Lots of promises and nothing delivered. I really hope your studio has shut down because god forbid you'll take the money and run again on your next game.

If you do read this devs, could you at least say what you were working on, what you were planning on adding and why you couldn't do it?
And please no ambiguity like "We had major plans (fails to mention what they were)" like you've said in other posts.

The only reason we did not share details was to not build false expectations, and we were right to do so since it's going to be impossible to deliver.

To say that nothing was delivered is simply not correct. We made the updates that needed to be done to the game(not only on steam but all consoles). We were very clear in saying that we would not be continuously adding new content, it was never that kind of game.

It's true, there are still two issues that seem to occasionally pop up related to inventory and gamepad input; we've exhausted our tests based on limited user input and have not been able to replicate them past our previous fixes. (at the time) Mind you that we completely changed our input system in one of those updates!

Thanks for the "wishful thinking" but our studio is doing just fine, this game is not our source of revenue nor did it make enough(it broke even at least) to run off to anywhere. This was and will continue to be a passion project.

Here's some of the actual things we've tackled in the last years that are being shelved:
-Work on a whole new chapter(deep in the snowy mountains; story, art, etc) accessible via the Hub Town you run into after the first boss. If you noticed the blocked paths, it was always planned to open it up with FREE DLC.
-Performance Update for the Switch (I wouldn't completely throw this one out but it's tricky)
-MacOS version (actually almost ready to release but untested)
-PS5/Xbox Series X Graphical and Performance update.

Among other stuff.

I don't expect or blame you for not understanding the costs involved in developing a game like this, and that not everything is black and white but remember that there's people on the other side.

We're not interested in drama but in making games.
