They do not do a random deal of the 52 cards in a deck. They engineer the games for "entertainment". This means you will often have pocket kings and someone else will have pocket aces. They will respond by saying there is proof of equal distribution of cards. Both can be true at the same time. Just deal the cards naturally and let us play...

"Poker Legends: Texas Hold'em Poker Tournaments" is quite simply a mobile app/browser-tier trashware "game" with gambling, intended to prey on gamers. While it's advertised as "Free" to play, it isn't, you must buy an in game currency, chips or whatever, to continue playing after you inevitably lose... after all, odds are in the houses favour (and the houses bots). The developer claims it's not gambling because you can't cash out, so all the money they try to coerce you into buying "chips" with is gone for good. I don't see how that's better or worse than just going to a casino.

I'm at a loss for words at how such an evil, unethical system as organised online gambling could jam its foot into the door here on Steam, at a time when loot boxes and other anti-gamer, predatory exploitation systems are being investigated by governments around the world.

There's plenty of accusations of unethical fixing of the odds here, and while they're not substantiated, I find it difficult to believe these people peddling gambling and trying to inflict this on the innocent population of Steam gamers on PC are bastions of honesty and integrity. So if you think sending thousands of dollars to these people for virtual chips you can gamble away is a good idea, maybe give that some introspection before buying any of the chips they constantly spam you with offers to buy in this advertising riddled mobile app like casino.

Pretending for a moment this isn't the evil of cancer manifesting itself on Steam with the intention of exploiting and entrapping PC gamers into gambling and debt, it's got all the same qualities as a mobile/browser game ported to PC, with locked resolution and poor quality 2D visuals, so it doesn't meet the standards for a PC game. But I'm pretty sure that being cancer personified is really more than enough reason to disqualify this one.

The graphics aren't great. That's understandably be turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises.

You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me.

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. Online gambling is cancer, and the people behind it set out to prey on gamers in the most sinister ways possible. This is not okay. Be safe out there.

Periodically the game will effectively freeze. Animations stop and you won’t be dealt cards forcing you to leave the game and re-enter. The only solution I’ve found for this is restarting the game a few times and hoping for the best. Please fix!

I'm a pretty decent seasoned player that studies the game of poker. I've played every online poker game I can find and this one is up there with the worst, cancerous dealers I've come across, quickly became bored and frustrated with the obliigitory 20/30 hands losing streak at start of every day, followed with an easy winning streak where you cant lose a hand and everyone is baited into the pot with a pair or 2 pair and u can just donk away with no skill.. U cant pay hand ranges, they mean nothing with these dealers. You just ride the long losing and winning streaks. Theres a league system that encourages everyone to go for the wins for bigger bonus chips every day and it makes everyone just donk every hand they have a sniff of a win at, I found myself doing the same, trying to climb the ladder. It would be a GREAT game if they just implemented a proper random number generator with the dealers, it really would, and that's what pisses me so much. I've never seen a Royal Flush in all my years playing but seen 2 here. Its a Poker sim, not a proper poker game. It pissed me off so much I had to write this review. Play Poker Championsip (twinned with Blackjack Championship), iits free on steam and the best I've played so far on steam and up there with the best I've played out of steam. )) Done! Feel better. Off back to Poker Campionship.
