Can't get a recipe from mother Hubbard

did she teach you how to cook already? you might be able to just cook a recipe and still get it to check off, try cooking together water cabbage and carrot

Yeah, all she does is tell you to use the stove but she doesn't teach you how it works but you can kinda figure it out. The recipe suggested to you is the only one that seems to work. Everything else turns into a mess. Your farm has those brick ovens that can roast food, but I don't think there are any workable recipes for it yet. You can buy recipe pages in the general store, but I haven't found all the items you need for them. Like thyme...

There is one other recepy I found that is currently cookable - check out all the loose pages behind mother Hubbards farm - there is one that gives some kind of fruit salad.

And talking about cooking - note that the items have different stewing times.
It can be very important to put them into the pot in the right order, so not to over or undercook an ingredient.
Water seems to take longest so far - needs to boil proprly before you toss in the carrots and the cabbage.
Ideally I think all foods should reach the red line in the pot at the same time.
(Not sure if burning/overcooking food us already implemented, so far I haven't seen a rating for the finished dishes.)
