Tir na nog lens?

Does anyone know how to get to Tir na nog since the update? All the guides are saying that the grandmasters give the lens to you but I haven't received it from them and I'm a novice now.

There is a lot of conflicting information on how to get those damn lens... the Wiki states both that the grandmasters give them to you on the first meeting AND that the travelling trader sells them for 1000...
