Paige Turner barring access???

since the update, every time I try to go to the Frogmarsh Paige is there saying "You need to be going the other way, back to the shingles". Anyone know what that's about??

It's blocked off until you increase your reputation a few levels.

Yes, the item you need to get to her is also blocked off until you increase your reputation, at least if you're starting a new save.

You have to go back into the shingles and open the door over there with the item you get. I was having an issue where the game told me to go talk to her, then open a pathway but she kept pushing me out of the frogmarsh. The Thatterway was telling me to cross the bridge. It appears to be left over from before the "big build" update.

This is on my old save. So weird. I was all over the map, had met and befriended all of the inhabitants, completed the tomb quest thing, etc. So now being barred from it because of reputation?? that's where i get my iron for my forge nooo :(((((((

Do you know how to find her? I decided to keep playing my old save even with the new update because I was getting pretty far and enjoying it... but now there are weird questlines and the wiki isn't updated + I haven't seen the storyline lead up so I have no clue

She's in the Ferrous Footway. You have to play the lute in front of the closed door. . I don't know how well previous saves are meshing with the update, since I started over.

Can you specify pls what level of reputation is needed to get the item in question?

I don't recall the exact level but it's only the 2nd or 3rd. Rather low and easy to get if you have a shop or two going. If you're playing on a new save it'll give you the quest to go to Woemarch/frogmarch once you hit that rep level. If you have the quest to talk to Paige you are already set to go. Paige should give you a lute and tell you to go find someone. The Thatterway erroneously tries to take you past Paige but she won't let you. You have to go back to a stone door in The Shingles and use the Lute Paige gave you. It seems they forgot to update the Thatterway path for this step of the story.

I am on the 3rd reputation level and I received no such quest.

EDIT: It was, indeed, reputation level 4 that unlocks the quest from Paige.
I seem to have encountered another problem entirely. Paige is not in Wisptrail. She is in Frogmarsh already. And she has no quest dialogue, so I can't continue doing it.
