default keyboard mappings in combat
I'm using the default keyboard settings and am struggling to figure out the mappings in combat. How do I switch from the sword to the bow? Are there any other strategies to do damage to opponents that are in the back row furthest to the right?

After my initial lessons with the Grandmaster, is there a way to practice so I could get used to the keyboard mappings? I don't see to be able to pull my weapons out of the inventory unless I'm already in battle.

thanks for any help

thanks for the response. Was hoping for a key shortcut since those are easier to use on a laptop but better than no way at all!
It would be great if there was a list of keys for combat.

Use the help function in combat and it should show them.

It doesn't sadly.
It just explains that you can parry, block and use the bow but doesn't list the keys.

I have the same issue with the control and get killed easily. I rather stay gardening and cooking meals.

I've been pretty happy gardening and cooking so far too, but now I have the task of Slaying the Jabberwock to level up, and I've been pretty much avoiding combat since it seems really difficult to get good at on a laptop and not an actual gaming controller. Trying to get better at combat but feeling discouraged about being able to level up beyond this, which is a shame given how much I've been enjoying the game progression so far.

You can slow the monsters down with a slider in Accessibility settings.

Me too. But in my case, I'm just really bad at anything combat related.
I hope there's a way to make it easier :')

How do we do this? I keep trying to L-click while blocking after they reach me, but nothing happens. Neither does R-clicking.
