Can't find Buried Chest

I've just received word from someone that Uncle Bill left a buried chest somewhere on the farm, but I can't seem to find it.
I've read the diary page and the book with instructions, but I can't find the proper starting point, and steps are too vague for me as a measurement to follow.
I've tried digging up all the muddy spots I could find left, right and below the farm with a hyalite shovel, but to no avail.

Could someone please point me to the exact spot to dig so I can loot its contents?

To the left of the middle 4 square of soil bellow the lake

I forget who tells you I think it was the sibling mentions the green ore. As for the mud spot just read the journal. It was hard to get exsactly to that space following directions, but I got close enough to guess.

As it turns out, I've checked that spot at least with the hyalite shovel and I think with the luminium shovel, but the newly crafted shadderwryth shovel did the job!

Yeah well, I think your sibling mentions luminium shovel in the mail. The devs might want to check this in, since Im sure i spent a couple hours on the whole farm lol.

Strange, I have used both shadderwryth and luminium shovels all around that spot, no chest at all. Are there any other prerequisites?

You have to have the quest. I just wanted to be sure you have that. If you do it might be time to go to bug forum.

maybe the buried chest differs a bit in each savefile? i have the quest and cant find it aswell.. idk

I can't find the chest... And I'm not sure that after The Big Build update the instructions make sence... I've already changed the area...How do I find the chest now?

The location changed in the big build update and is no longer found near the fae gates. Once you've spoken with your sister and gotten the book and quest, follow the instructions to the eastern part of the farmstead near where you started the game.
