Xbox 360 Controller not working

Hello there,

I just installed the game and tried to play it with my controller. But it's not working. I tested mine and the one of my boyfriend. Both of them aren't working.

I reinstalled the Game, rebooted my Laptop and tried the Beta testing branch. But nothing is working.

That's odd as they should work. Are the drivers up to date?

Have you tried enabling the controller in steam? Through big picture mode, there's controller settings. If those aren't enabled there's a good chance your controller won't work.

That's odd... because I use a DS3 disguising itself as an XBox controller with a wrapper and it works fine... Does the controller responds normally and test alright in the Devices control panel?

I had this issue aswell. The solution is to install the xbox360 accessories software.

https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-gb/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows

Windows 10 doesn't require this to be install, the controller works fine for every game without it. At least I hadn't encountered any game that didn't require it before this game.

Mine is still not working after doing everything mentioned above. Any other solutions out there.

Just bought this for a family member of mine, same problem, Steam recognises the controller but Kynseed doesn't :( Very frustrating. Tried going to the Device Manager and ensuring that the Driver for the Xbox controller was updated and also reinstalled it... Windows 10, Razer Laptop.

Wanted to know if there was a fix for the wireless Xbox controller yet? The game does not recognize a wireless at all.

Appreciate that this thread speaks specifically about the Xbox 360 contoller, but just wondered if anyone has any info on the MSI Force GC30 contoller? This is suffering with the same issue. Not working in game either wired or wireless.

Going to message our coder now to bring it to his attention again and ask him to reply here.

Had a quick word. Ensure all drivers are up to date, inc Direct X.
If you have multiple inputs plugged in, try removing some of those temporarily.
Let us know if any of that helps and we will look into it more. We deffo want to get this sorted!

All drivers inc Direct X up to date and only the MSI controller connected. Still no joy. :-(
