Languages other than English don't seem to work

Hi,

I haven't managed to run this game in a language other than English.
There doesn't seem to be an option in the game itself to change it and changing the Steam UI langague doesn't affect the game. Tried German and Polish with no success.

Has some managed to run it in their own non-English language?

Aww man, that means it might be something wrong with my setup.
Did you set german somewhere special or just steam UI settings?

I need to set it to english! Im trying to figure out what the game uses to determine the language. Really annoying.

OK. It depends on your windows language. Really stupid! I've set Win10 to engliosh and now the game is in english.

I run into the same issue. Language cannot be set to differ from the windows display language. Steam does support language setting in the library but this game managed to not make use of that.

it is absurd that i have to change windows language to play this game. There is no launch option we can use?

I tried a variety of options in order to change this with no success. To me it is crazy that the languages are in the game files yet the language cannot be manually selected. The language used is based on the windows display language. In addition you get a settings screen on startup where you can setup graphics options, input options, but no language selection? As a developer myself i can't get around how this simple change - which is a huge quality of life improvement - is not implemented.

Changing windows language it is.. sigh.

Did anyone find a solution for steam deck? I have it in English but I want the game in Spanish for my daughter.
