Help, I'm stuck in "Salvage Operation".

I'm stuck in the "Salvage Operation" mission when you get the Heavy Transport Unit early game. I arrived at he hangar, cleared the debris around the truck, installed the battery, drove the truck out of the hangar, opened the back, drove the ATV into the bed of the truck (this completed the "Park ATV on Truck Bed"), closed the hatch and drove back to the drop-pod. But the task remains and asks me to "Prepare to drive ATV back to Alpha Base"... Not sure what to do at this point. Is there a way to manually complete this task? Or skip it?

Consider yourself lucky, I got no scrap, no batteries, can't get the truck running.

ya, my mission jpins me to a random location so the fact you even got that far is impressive.

I encountered the bug today of there not being any scrap to clear or a battery to put in the truck. In my case, I had attempted the mission once, successfully freed and powered the truck, but started too late in the day and hadn't pinned the location of my capsule, so I got lost in the dark on the way back.

Rather than waste a bunch of time wandering around in the dark trying to find my base, I exited the game and this morning loaded a save where I could start out for Alpha base first thing in the morning. When I got there, there was no scrap around the truck or a battery to put in it.

i saw the pile of stuff around truck but radiation scared me off. I went around to solar panels and forgot i could not grind them yet, had no nav marker now, and rubbish is gone but radiation is deadly quickly.

Since I was only on Day 2, I started a new campaign game. Same problem, no debris, no battery. Verified the installation files. Everything was 100% verified. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Still broken.

Where is the battery meant to be?

I got this problem as well, the marker is shown very deep in a mountain behind the abandoned base where I found the ATV I repaired.

The one time I had the mission work for me, the battery was on the shelves in the garage.

A fresh install and starting yet another campaign game from scratch, this mission finally worked for me.

However, given the number of posts in the common bugs thread about other missions/waypoints being bugged, think I'm just going to wait a few patches before trying to play again.

the campaign quests problems should be fixed soon. We are testing build with hotfix and release is as soon as possible
