does the game have any built in cheat commands so that i can spawn in some resources until they fix the issue with the aluminium ?

take a trip to my world lol, i seem to be swimming in aluminium, and iron... not much else though

not getting that...

yea my uncle is full of jokes about it as well, i gifted him the game two days before i decided to buy it myself and hes got no issues and thinks its funny

lol he said i send him some circuit boards in exchange for ore

this game is nothing for you, when you need cheats.
Go out of Base and you get more Alu you need...

Not much help but I haven't had an issue finding alu...(campaign mode, not that it should make a difference.) I've found it and other things amongst the large clusters of different shaped rocks.

В том числе и для этой игры, например менять количество ресурсов которые есть в вашем инвентаре, Запас воды/воздуха/сна и так далее.
Меня очень смешит как разработчики "возбуждаются" когда о этом вспоминаешь/говоришь открыто. Сразу угрожают, даже говорят что это незаконно, и нарушает права разработчика.
Но фактически вы получаете доступ только к данным в своей оперативной памяти компьютера, которая куплена только вами, и все права тут принадлежат только вам (тогда можно смело говорить что драйвер клавиатуры/видеокарты тоже незаконный, так как получает доступ и использует данные игры, правда звучит как бред, да).
У вас все еще нет никакой возможности получить доступ к закрытому коду игры, и только этот код является эксклюзивным правом разработчика.
Что касается МОРАЛИ, говорить/обсуждать плохо это, или хорошо - это полный бред, это личное дело каждого, как играть, сколько потратить на еще полную багов игру, и как сэкономить это время, вот и все.

basically I just hit the tallest spikes , toss up whether aluminum , iron, calcium, silicon, but until unlock scanner its a toss up.

Honestly tho, I scrap bases for parts til get lvl 3, and get alot of stuff that way, very rare I have to print except for friggin concrete.

ive tried it mate, i have done nothing but break up random rocks in random places for as much as possible i never get any of it

i have managed to get x1 piece by picking up stones from the ground, but only 1 piece
no matter what rock i destroy i dont get the resource i need

its really annoying, i could try and expand the looting a little, but my needs are not random like loot boxes and i need what i need. but its something i could give a try tomorrow

i cant be bothered tonight again now, but i will tomorrow do what you have suggested and do nothing but knock down tall rocks until my food runs out and see what happens

Spectral detector l2 and scan rock formations, aluminium and iron are most abundant. Its silicon thats hard to find.

I agree. This is my play through.
I use scanner 2 and in the manual, it says basicly "look no further than the tall rocks just outside your base" in regards to mining. I have also found a cave with tunnels which have uranium.

In regards to the tall rocks, u some times have better opportunities laying just beside the tall rocks.

Notice the rocks break up into ore and only specific chunks of ore produce usable ore.... I have been mining to the usable ore and leave the big chunks alone till I have the rover.

Sometimes there's "mounds" of ore right next to the tall rock formations.

I have difficulty finding silicone mainly.

I only scavenge basses for circuit boards. Everything else can be mined. And mining is faster than scavenging.


Also, don't panic if your suit runs out of power. As long as you got the HAB or escape pod, u will survive lol

Im starting to think its a random seeding thing, from all my starts there always seems to be one of those resources that seem harder to find than others.
My first main go was silicon that was the scarce resource.
This current play its aluminium

Admittedly, this play i'm trying to avoid busting up the brown rocks and save them for the rover since so much is wasted with the hand drill and only been hitting up the more grey rocks.
