Medium solar panels also wont go where I have just removed/taken down the small ones. But with grid turned off I could find some spots for them. But not for the lamp post :-(

try using arrows - up and down .

Same problem here when placing medium solar panels, using up/down arrows didn´t help

try to move a bit, move cursor closer ar farther away from you. Try to find the right spot. If nothing helps, send us record and log - we tried to reproduce it but nobody was able to do that.

using "up" did help in my case.

Although it seems the model is somewhat miss-aligned if you need to do that each time?

I suspect it has something to do with the Z height of the ground and some degree of clipping. It can be a problem with grid mode on, apparently if you turn grid mode off you won't have that problem.

But what kind of savage then builds their base without nice straight orderly lines!

Medium solar panels require a lot of free real estate around it. I've found that a medium solar panel array must have two empty spaces between it and another on all sides.

I have found some spots where i can place the medium solar panel but not everywhere where i want. I didn´t test with grid option off.
