Help Finding Living Room Decor
I can't seem to find any. Couches, televisions, coffee tables, etc. It says that they're available to print if I could only find and scan them. I've seen the actual models from the tutorial intro, but after searching far and wide I haven't seen them render in the main game to scan.

I hopped in my rover and drove 50,000 m in one direction checking every outpost along the way. Nothing. I went back home and refueled and then went another 50,000 m in the opposite direction. Still nothing.

I went back and redid the tutorial; hoping I could find a spectral scanner and somehow level up so I could scan the ones in the main base campaign. Not possible.

I even searched until I found the wreckage of the destroyed base and spent a few days carefully cleaning it up so I could find the room that originally had all the living room decor only to find it all gone/destroyed.

Have I been wasting my time? Will my dream of meta watching TV on mars only be available at a future update? Has anyone else found living room decor?

there might be some unimplemented stuff as far as the actual scannable stuff to unlock it, this has me curious though. i use an outdated mod called joew's occupy mars tweaks. it is currently incompatible with the most recent update, so i have remained in the halloween update until there is a update pushed for the mod.

the mod allows us to spawn in some of the items and equipment directly to the player's inventory. so i am going to see if anything in alpha base can be scanned that way.
All of the items you've mentioned can be found and scanned but there's only one or two specific abandoned bases that you can scan them at. Same thing goes for the plant decorations you can scan. They didn't bother going through and rebuilding all of the abandoned bases when they started adding the scan / decoration system so a lot of the times you'll come across something you haven't scanned yet, but it's not the version of it that can be scanned and/or the newer bases are further / rarer so they don't spawn as often.

My main save is from the landing site near alpha base and I had to go out 10-20km before the newer bases started spawning in, not sure about from the other starting points.

As I said in my original post "I hopped in my rover and drove 50,000 m in one direction checking every outpost along the way. Nothing. I went back home and refueled and then went another 50,000 m in the opposite direction. Still nothing."

I can't even see couches, tv's and coffee tables that are too wrecked to scan. I think there's a problem with them loading at all because I have 3 different campaigns and I can't find a single living room decor in a single one.

Pretty sure they're not yet implemented in the game but would like confirmation from the devs.

I haven't seen any since 0.199.7 in the lobby's in abandoned complexes either, so it may be "turned off" for review of some sort. I've seen the lobby's and they are bare naked. This would be my 3rd start new, and rolling the random seed around in Madman.
