How come some building won't snap together if the ground is uneven.
I am trying to build a workshop behind my workshop, but the building won't turn green at first I thought it was my water hose and power cable, but I removed them and the building still remains red where it connects to the door, if I go up it turns green, but than it won't connect.

I find this a lot. It'd be nice if there was some sort of ground levelling tool, but mostly it can be worked around like Shadow said.

The one that bugs me most is it's really hard to get a green spot for a Big Antenna. Hard enough that I think it's a bug, and sometimes the "acceptable" place for it is with 70% of its base floating on thin air whereas some spots with lovely flat sand are rejected.

I find the same thing with the medium solar panels, even the floating thing you mentioned. This might sound crazy but i've never built an antenna so far as i still can't work out what they do and if i need one. But i can imagine they'e as finicky to place as the solar panels.

I've never had trouble with solar panels. Usually up/down arrow will solve placement issues even on the side of a mountain so long as you're not overlapping other structures or rocks. You can also get better results by turning off build-on-grid in options (I forget the exact name, but something like that) but I've rarely found the need to do that and it only seems to work on the panels.

Much more finicky and for no good reason. I mean look at this nonsense:

The purpose of antennas is to allow and extend the range of remote control, both of your base infrastructure (e.g. setting the parameters on a Battery or ECU) and vehicles like the Heavy Rover and Drone.

What I've found them more useful for is increasing the visibility of a remote outpost on the map. The big green circle of an antenna's coverage range is much easier to spot than a waypoint when scrolling through it zoomed out all the way. It also gives me something to spend my Small Circuit Boards on - not the Antenna itself but the Battery to keep it fed with 4kW overnight.

Well, if people (Longword) are going to post exactly what I said, or just didn't bother to read, then I'll just delete my posts, and won't help anyone here any longer.:steamfacepalm::steamsad:
I apologise if I have caused offence, it's not easy to check what might have offended against a deleted post. I'm just posting my own personal experience here, replying to Dallas's response to me.

My issue is the hangar hatch it´s way to high up. If you try to level the hangar so there is no gap between the hatch opend and the ground, you can´t fully lover the hatch.

Shadow and longword, sometimes people can summit posts at the same time, so he may not have known you posted. I seen it happen a lot on steam and other forums, so I don't really care if people give double answers to the same question, each person has their own experience, and sharing it helps me learn to play my games better.

I have a base scematic I want to build, but I can't expand in the direction I want because of elevated land between my workshop and workshop two, and if you raise it the cordors don't connect, I don't have the cordors and connections yet.

LOL, indeed! That is ridiculous. "This is not acceptable, but this is?" LOL
