Supply Drops missing

I went to 3 supply drops in three different areas and had nothing there. When I saved and reload the message with tracker was gone. After that I went back to my base and found rocks that I mined before was there. Did not get credit but notice only happen when I could not find supply drops. Same goes for the probe, but got 1 pendrive with 2 rockets on each other.

I also went to three different supply drops, but only two were void of anything. The third one showed parachutes descending when I got within ~500m. When I finally arrived the cargo pod was there, and I was able to collect all the goodies.

I'm not sure what happened with the other two. As in your case, when I reloaded the saved game the two supply drops that I had visited disappeared.

I don't know if you have to reach the supply drop within a certain time from the moment you get the message, or if the cargo pods simply disappear after a certain amount of time has lapsed.

In both cases the supply drops that didn't have a cargo pod and simply disappeared had been on my radar for several days before I investigated them.

I thought about time limit too. Some I found after save and reload still saying there on the map. Would be nice a way to deleted the messages cause by these errors. From 2500 m to over 3500 m away is pain with no loot.

Probes and meteorites have no issues. Probes sometimes get buggy.

That was something else that suggested why the supply drops were not there - their proximity to the base.

The two supply drops that I went to check out that didn't exist where 2.5 km and 3 km away. The supply drop that was there that I found, with the cargo pod being parachuted in, was 5.5 km away.

I have another supply drop that is 7.5 km away, so I will check that one out next and see if it actually exists. That will take at least two days to get there and back again, so I'm hoping something will be there.

They may need to be a certain distance away from the survival pod before they start showing up. Since the last one that showed up was 5.5 km away, I'm thinking anything closer than 5 km and it probably won't appear.

I have stumbled across several probes that do not appear on my radar. All the meteorites that I have checked out do show up on my radar, even if they have been around for awhile.

I wonder if the game over loads with too many drops and supply drops top of the list to be X out. Say there is 10 supply drops be active but the game push for 15. The first 5 might be blanks as it keep sending more drops. Feels like you pick up one drop and each type spawns a new one within 24 hours.

It isn't just the time limit. Occasionally the Supply Drops do bug out. I went to one 2500 m from my base right after the message appeared. And it wasn't there, also the icon for it was like 5 meters off the ground like it disappeared before it even hit the ground.
