pumpkin problem

I already submitted feedback in game, but ran into problem. Pumpkins were at 99% growth and a meteor took out my water systems. The plants fully grown and withered about same time. So now i got fully grown pumpkins that are brown. I can't harvest them, I can't collect plant material, get a message saying its too big. Grinder doesn't detect pumpkins just grinds on the dome.
i could grind the dome and then rebuild but waiting for other plants to finish up.

Can you "burn" them and then collect material? ( Just thinking out loud on this bug ) .

nope torch and jackhammer don't do anything. Tho burning plants to get ash/carbon for chemical and building applications would be an idea for the dev's

Yeah ... was a thought. Report that as a bug. I've never seen it but yes ... pretty weird.
